01How many guests can Rocky Mountain Cottage welcome?
We can cater for weddings of up to approximately 160 guests. Tell us the shape of your guest list and we will talk you through the best layout for the day.
02Will ours be the only wedding?
Yes. We host one wedding per day. The venue, its rooms and the grounds are yours, so there is no overlap and no moving around another wedding.
03Can we have our ceremony at the venue?
Yes. Ceremonies can take place on site, with indoor and outdoor possibilities including The View and the Hobbit House. We will always plan a beautiful weather proof option too.
04What is included with venue hire?
Exclusive use, tables, linen, centrepieces, Chiavari chairs, a wide choice of styling pieces, cake stands and plinths, the Horse Cart Bar, planning support and an overnight stay with breakfast for the wedding couple are all part of the experience.
05Who looks after the food and drinks?
David, Caroline and the award winning No.7 Duke Street team provide the food and drinks exclusively at Rocky Mountain Cottage. They will guide you through menus, tastings and drinks choices.
06Can we plan from abroad?
Absolutely. We use video calls, virtual tours and an online couples portal, and Gráinne is always a WhatsApp away. We can also help with local accommodation, transport and trusted suppliers.
07Is accommodation available on site?
The wedding couple can stay overnight in the restored 300 year old cottage and enjoy breakfast the following morning. We also share trusted accommodation options nearby for guests.
08Can we bring our own styling?
Yes. There is a generous collection of styling and décor here for you to use, and you can add pieces that feel personal to you. Gráinne will help you bring it together.
